Influenced by the proliferation of tags and graffiti in Paris and its suburbs in the 1980s, SethOne began his graffiti journey in the early 1990s with the STS and CLM crews. His work on canvas developed later, driven by a desire to approach the dynamics of his letters differently than on walls. This technique, which he calls Graffolyse, involves the deconstruction and dissolution of letters, leaving space for components, ornaments, strong lines, and dynamics to create a unified, moving snapshot. This transformation is enriched by various influences: pop art, primitive arts, contemporary art, skate and surf culture imagery, and 1990s comics.
